My name is Jeremy Almarode and I'm the owner of On-Sight Contracting. I appreciate your interest in the company and would like to share with you a little about myself. I grew up on a farm in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, and learned from a very young age the value of a hard days work. However my interests were in the construction field, specifically architectural design and construction. After graduating high school, I entered the construction industry and worked as a framer, building custom homes and condominiums. Working my way up to a foremen's position, I then began to manage construction projects. This 34 years of combined construction and management experience would eventually come together and result in the formation of my own business... On-Sight Contracting.
You may have noticed that the logo resembles mountain peaks. That is because I'm an avid outdoorsman. I love hiking, camping, kayaking, mountain biking, dog training for search and rescue and, last but certainly not least, climbing mountains. On-Sight is a rock climbing term meaning to lead a climb on the first attempt without prior knowledge of the route or moves. Because this is the first time I've relied solely on my own business to as a means of livelihood, the name seemed not only appropriate, but inspiring and personally challenging.

Renovations and installation require paperwork and permits. As contractors, we know what papers need to be filed and what permits need to be obtained.
